Boxers Bed & Biscuits' Staff is trained to care for your diabetic pet! Dr. Bea Schooly, veterinarian at Belpre Animal Clinic, conducted personalized training specifically for us so that we know how to accurately monitor diabetic pets, watch for signs of trouble, administer insulin and maintain good records of food and water intake, as well as activity, for all diabetic pets in our care. We have a pet-specific glucose monitor on site, but we require owners of diabetic pets to bring their own food and treats to minimize stress on their bodies, which can have a direct impact on the pet's glucose levels.
